Cannoli Siciliani
Cannoli Siciliani ~ Cannoli are basically crisp, sweet crunchy tubes which are filled with a cream or ricotta cheese filling, often flavored with cocoa, nuts, chocolate, or candied fruits. This is a very traditional recipe for cannoli which is a very popular sweet in Sicily. You will need 3 to 4 metal cannoli tubes to makes these cannoli which are readily available at most kitchen stores.

Gambino Lattes
Gambino Lattes are inspired by the most delicious flavors of the world. Freshly roasted specialty coffee is cold brewed for 21 hours, then balanced with milk and natural flavourings. It is authentic, natural, rich and smooth. Though there might be a slight aftertaste, it does the job. I believe we are all used to artificial flavors that ruin our tastebuds , from a Vanilla Bean Crème Frappuccino blended Crème from Starbucks. I mean honestly, was there really a need to add Crème twice in the same name? That should already give you the biggest hint that there is NO WAY anything natural in that drink. Moral of this post? Who doesn't love chocolate?
The chocolate is made in the little shop which gives this place a great artisan feel and a great smell! The creators have always something new to taste so my family and I come back once a week to take home a box of goodies. The chocolate makes great presents for friends as well. While my family and I found the chocolates incredibly delicious I was impressed with the free samples and selection!

Hiking in Bali
Trekking to the top of Mount Batur in Bali to watch the sunrise was a life changing moment for me. I don't quite remember how old I was, but it was definitely an eye opener. Watching the starry night turn into day, I realized that there are more important things in life than working myself to the bone at a job that didn't make me happy. I'd rather live a fulfilling life of travel and see breathtaking sights like this. I'd highly recommend the sunrise trekking tour in Bali!

The Pizza is terrific, thin, crispy and embezzled with authentic Italian topping ...not your Dominos or manufactured variety. Micky, the owner and chef is incredibly funny, very welcoming and he creates a welcoming vibe for families travelling with children in his jumping castle out the back. Cold beer, wine or his own concoction with a view that overlooks the rice paddies through massive open windows all around. This is a relaxed laid back place to chill and enjoy a cold drink and great pizza.

Chilli Chocolate Macarons
The first time I tried chilli chocolate was on my father's boat years ago. The family looked on with glee as I tried some of the chocolate - chilli chocolate was unheard of, I didn't yet have much of a spicy palate back then (in fact, I'm still only partial to mildly spicy food), but I did enjoy the contrast between the smooth chocolate and fiery chilli. It was almost like crackling chocolate as the contrast in the mouth pulls you in. Eight years later, I'm still only a cautious fan of chilli chocolate, looking on from the sidelines as it gains in popularity. My father, on the other hand, is a huge fan of chilli.

Warung Cantina
Located on Batu Belig beaching Seminyak, Bali. Is this amazing beach bar/restaurant with relatively cheap food and the best spot for insta-grammable sunset photos.It is advised to dine there comfortably in between 4pm-7pm, due to the rising tide and violent waves. Unless you could not care less about losing your smartphone or wallet, then by all means choose to sit on the inviting bean bags! Apart from that, you're surrounded with smiles and pleasant staff.
